You know, for someone who is as big of a Star Wars nerd as I am, I have a disturbingly small amount of Star Wars art in my collection. So here's just a little something I made just for you Star Wars Anakin and Padme nerds like myself. I think I may do one of Han and Lea, Luke and Mara and of course one of ALL the characters, but I don't know yet, we'll see! I recently re-did my laptop Icons for those in my Fanfic folder and thus, a series of folder ideas were born!!! During my countless hours of research I always do before attempting something new in Photoshop, I stumbled across

version of these! I decided to make a few of my own.
Template: I used

template!!! If you use this anywhere, please give a link back!!! I made them into a .PNG file, but used this online converter (Found here:
[link]) to make them an .ICO that would make them tolerable on my Windows 7.
Origonal Image can be found here:

To me it seemed to fit the two of them almost TOO perfectly!
Leave a review to let me know what you think of it!!!
Step 1:
Go to the folder you wish to edit
Step 2:
Right click on said folder and go down to properties
Step 3:
Click on the "Customize" tab
Step 4:
Click on "Change Icon" it will have a boring looking folder there.
Step 5:
Hit browse when the window pops up
Search for your Downloaded/Saved custom ICO image
Click Open
Then Click Ok
Then Click Apply
Then Click Ok
IT MAY NOT CHANGE RIGHT AWAY!
If this happens simply go into said folder, go out of said folder and vola! It should be there!
Let me know if you found this helpful!!! And if you make something, post it on here and send me a message so I can see it! (And a tag wouldn't be too bad either!

Follow these steps!
Step 1: Download PSD Template from
Step 2: Open PSD file in Photoshop
Step 3:
Place the photo you want for the cover of your folder into the Folder template by drag/drop
Before you do ANYTHING ELSE, lower the opacity of said picture to where you can see the outline of the folder and the picture decently
Then you size it to fit into the folder cover as you wanted.
Hit Enter at size/placement wanted.
Turn Opacity back up to 100
Step 4:
Click on the play looking button to drop down the Template folder.
Step 5:
Right click on the layer that your picture is on and click on "Rasterize Layer"
Select the layer called "Front" then select your magic wand tool.
Click on a part of the picture where the "folder cover" is roughly so it should select it.
Press ctrl+shift+I (or go up to the bar and hit select then down to inverse)
Make sure the layer the picture you are using is selected and hit delete.
Step 6:
De-Select the image and select the Layer called "Top Layer"
Edit the blending options for the gradient overlay to the color you'd like
Step 7:
Go to google images and type in the name of the T.V show/Series you wish to use and make sure its a PNG file. For example. I would type in "Star Wars Logo PNG" and save the image. Makes it easier and saves you a bit of work doing the logo yourself!
Take the logo you have just found and place it into the document the same way to did your picture.
Now, it may be behind the picture, but that's okay, simply size it down a bit, then drag it to the top left hand corner and then fine tune to fit in that little area, or how ever you want it to look!
Step 9:
I don't usually use the gloss layer for my folders, but if you do so wish, mess around with the blending options and opacity to get the look you want. If you don't wanna use it, simply un-click the eyeball.
Step 9:
Save the file as a PNG file! If your on a windows machine and have the ICO plug in, DO NOT use that for this! It comes out really small and crappy! Save it as a PNG file.
Then go to [link] and convert it to an ICO there!
Download the file and save it into a folder that you will be using to keep your Icon files.
Step 10:
Unless you are planning on uploading your file to DA or simply want to keep them I suggest you delete the PNG file, the picture you used and the logo as you do not need them anymore.
